 my biggest hit with the bike is a 10 stair on the pavement and on the trails i did about a 6ft drop... not anything to write home about but the parker took it like a champ!!! ive heard of guys getting bigger than that and its still ok...

 ok, ya i can see that you can get the 08 parker 1 for 800. because its an 08! MSRP was about $2400ish on the 09 before 2010. but you also have to realize that there was a geometry revision, the 09 parker 1 is a 08 parker 2 and the 08 parker 3 is an 09 parker 2.... upgrades in suspension, brakes, deraillers, crank, stem and handlebars are about the equivalent, and wheels are the same. otherwise its a completely different bike.

 man, i love it! it is an 09 parker 1, i got it a few weeks ago. im looking to upgrade eventually to a Hammerschmidt crank, Hayes stroker trail brakes and maybe a different fork, its a little heavy in the front. otherwise, its a great machine that can take big hits!

 sick bike dude! i was looking at getting a p1 last summer until i found my fisher, but that right there is a nice rig! ive got a gary fisher mullet and it is 33lbs. i thought my bike was heavy!
